BlinkWeb Update from Brad Callen - Good Stuff

Brad Callen from Blinkweb.com took time to stop by the Business Dreams blog and make a comment about the Blinkweb:

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in to answer a couple quick questions. 1. There will be 2 main “areas” of Blinkweb. There is http://business.blinkweb.com which was designed with the “typical” internet marketer in mind. It includes lots of direct marketing/long form salesletter style templates, as well as a bunch of more regular templates. It also includes lots of IM’er features. Then there is the main website at http://www.blinkweb.com , which is more geared for the every day person. The person that isn’t into making money from a website, but someone that just wants a nice looking website that they can show their friends and family. We’ll be working on BOTH aspects of Blinkweb on an ongoing basis, so there’s much much more to come. Thanks for taking time out of your busy days to watch our video! :-)

This is going to be an exciting product in my opinion. I also read in the last email that was sent out by Matt Callen that the BlinkWeb software may even be Free. I am guessing the basic version will be free and the business version will have costs but at this time I do not know that for sure.

We’re super-excited about this, so I hope you like it!

The video at the link above will explain more, but essentially we’ve developed THE easiest website creation service that you’ll find online, and it’s completely free.

Yeah, I know, others have promised this and we all know that ALL of the options out there are  still WAY too complicated and techie.

Matt goes on to say:

While developing BlinkWeb, we did our very best to keep both the beginner and expert designer in mind.   With that being said, we asked some of our closest OFFLINE friends like our wives, family members, and others to create their own websites with BlinkWeb.

Why did we ask them?

Because we’ve been trying to get them to do this “online marketing” thing for a very long time.  And they’ve NEVER, ever been able to create a website before. It was always too complicated for them with Dreamweaver, FrontPage, and all of the other bulky page building tools the experts use.

They’re at the bottom of the bottom when it comes to knowing how to create their own website.  They can check their email and surf the internet… but that’s about it.  They’re absolute beginners.

So when developing BlinkWeb, we wanted to first cater to beginners and make sure that anyone… and I mean ANYONE could create a website with BlinkWeb.  Now, our friends have no problem making a website.

All you need to know how to do in order to build your own site, internet marketing salesletter, or blog is point and click your mouse.

Pretty exciting stuff. I know several people right off the top of my head that would love a product like Blinkweb. Again, the BlinkWeb.com website will be coming very soon so keep your eyes peeled for more info as we find out more from Brad and Matt Callen. You asked how good the site builder tool can be. It’s pretty darn good.

I’ve been a web developer for eleven years. Having family and friends who want websites, I’m always looking for something easy to use that I can refer them to.

BlinkWeb is it. The drag and drop is intuitive. Changing font colors and sizes is easy and in the right place. Adding a contact form is a no-brainer. And I expect, given what they’ve done with SEOelite and KeywordElite that there will be good training videos.

I’m very happy with it.

All the best,
Val

Thanks for the feedback on Blinkweb Val. I take it you were able to get in when Blinkweb went live. I was a little slow on the trigger and have to wait for the re-launch. Just based on the Blinkweb Demo Video you can see that the product looks very good. The drag and drop web page building that Blinkweb gives users will be enough to get people talking about this product.

And I agree with you that there will be plenty of good Blinkweb training videos as well. I know I am looking forward to signing up for Blinkweb like many others.

I jumped right on BlinkWeb when I first signed up. I created all kinds of sites with main keywords that I hope to develope in the near future. I can’t understand why no one else did.

Great advice Lamach. Blinkweb is an excellent tool for building farm sites for link building. I have a few there myself ;)
