@roger that – I have not tried to do a domain transfer but I can see how that may present a problem at this point in time. I’m sure the Callens will work to resolve any issues that they may experience with their new service.

@Brad Callen – That is great news. I’m glad to see you are making a Blinkweb Affiliate Program available. I figured it would be coming at some point. I look forward to learning more about it.

Hi Noovy, the BW affiliate program should be ready this week. We’ve been spending a lot of time tweaking things within the website to make them more user friendly for BW users. We’re hoping to make BW a longterm website creation and hosting service for users, rather than one of those “typical” fly by night internet marketing services. I truly want Blinkweb to be something that helps its users in a big way, for a long long time. With that said, we’re tryig to lay down a really solid base/foundation within the website before adding things like an affiliate program. Now that the solid base is in place, the affiliate program should be done this week. Thanks for the mention on your Blog Noovy. Best of luck.

Griz – I’m not really expecting anything to come from Blinkweb. I was trying to follow along with you to see if I could rank for it. I quickly got bumped when your sites, and other higher authority sites, started ranking for Blinkweb. This site and another one I have had for years seem to rank very quickly and rank okay for certain things too. Now I just need to keep fine tuning my network and link building.

I’m as disappointed as you with Blinkweb – like you I was looking for the affiliate angle and as you said the Callens have gone it alone for now. Can’t blame them as they have some pretty large lists of their own. It is humorous however that the site isn’t getting content – just placeholders for now. Not sure they had reckoned that into the plan. lol.
